Mindfully completing activities & experiences can build up our confidence. Better confidence equals better self-esteem, which is essential when combatting difficult emotions or battling the shame cycle.

Tips for building mastery:

  • Do one thing every day to progress myself, no matter how small.
  • Plan for success & trust my own judgement.
  • Make steps as small & gradual as possible. Finding it too difficult? Break up the task even more.
