    • Show care, compassion & compromise
    • Be mindful
  • Communicate#

    • Open, clear & direct communication
    • Include sincere compliments
    • Show understanding of their side
  • Remember:

    • Just because others aren’t communicating healthily, it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try to.
    • Assertiveness takes time to learn & practice successfully; don’t stop trying!
    • Always praise yourself for using a skill successfully.
